Service Description
Flower and Bird Painting – 화조도 (Hwa-jo-do) In Korean Minhwa (folk painting), flower and bird paintings represent harmony with nature, beauty, and peace. These works often depict seasonal flowers alongside birds, symbolizing joy, longevity, and the gentle rhythms of life. In this class, you will complete a flower and bird painting using one of several sketch options we provide. This class consists of 2 sessions, each 2 hours long, and can be booked online. Please note: materials are not included. You may purchase them on your own or order our painting package or individual materials separately. What you will learn: 1. Introduction to basic painting materials 2. Understanding basic color schemes 3. Color blending techniques 4. Fine lining skills / drawing feathers and petals 5. Adding final details and completing your painting Please note: Materials are not included in the class fee. We’ll provide a full materials list so you can purchase them yourself or through our website. 👉🏻 If you request, we can send you a sheet of traditional Korean paper (A3).
